Massage Candles/Lotion Candles
Our Massage candles are unique because they can be used as a massage oil, body balm, cuticle treatments, or dry areas.
PLEASE READ THE LABEL! WE HAVE LICKABLE (EDIBLE) MASSAGE CANDLES AND TRADITIONAL MASSAGE CANDLES!
How to use:
Regardless of how and where you choose to use the Spa Shop Massage Candle, only use the amount you need. Any unused ingredients will set up again in candle form, ready for your next use. For best results, always trim the wick to 1/4″ prior to each use. If any ingredients are not melted when you use the candle, you will start to see a well form down the middle of the candle. You can push this un-melted portion back in toward the wick, so it will melt the next time you use the candle. Blow out the candle before pouring it. Let it sit for 2 minutes before pouring it on skin.
You can also use the candle without melting it. When “set” like a candle, use the scoop or the back of a fingernail to remove some un-melted mixture. Then simply use it as you would a body balm. It will melt very easily as you begin to massage it into your skin. This is a very quick and convenient way to experience skin moisturizing benefits when lighting the candle simply isn’t possible or practical.
Important: Never put fingers into the candle while burning. And please, always keep your massage candle away from children, pets and flammable objects.
A Note About Allergies
Although our massage candles are made in accordance with FDA guidelines for skin care products, and all ingredients are skin safe, individuals with known allergies to any of the above ingredients should not use our products. In addition, those with nut allergies should be aware that soy and sunflower oils are considered nut based and should not be used.
Individuals with allergies for certain plants may wish to ask questions about essential oil-based fragrances. Some of these oils contains citrus, floral, and other scents from nature that could trigger reactions to have allergies to fragrances derived from certain natural scents. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE NOT SURE!
Ingredients:
Spa Shop Massage Candles are made with a proprietary blend of the following:
Cosmetic-grade soy wax
Coconut oil (edible)
Shea butter
Beeswax (edible)
Vitamin E
Skin-safe essential or fragrance oil (depending on scent), or flavor oil (Edibles line)
As an added benefit, the candle in its un-melted state is essentially a body balm. The balm can easily be massaged into dry skin areas when lighting the candle isn’t feasible or practical.
